Abstract

This article examines the journalistic legacy of Said Rizo Alizoda within the early twentieth-century Jadid movement in Turkestan from a socio-philosophical perspective. It highlights the author’s views on language, education, enlightenment, national identity, patriotism, and social justice, and elucidates their significance in the process of national awakening. Alizoda directly links social progress to the development of human thought, moral advancement, and enlightenment, while interpreting ignorance as a major obstacle to social development. In addition, his activities in publications such as Oyna, Samarqand, Hurriyat, Zarafshon, and others, as well as the key ideas expressed in his journalistic heritage, are systematically analyzed.
