In this article, the priorities of a radical reform of the higher education system of Uzbekistan in the years of independence, the fact that the socio-economic development of our country depends primarily on the training of educated and mature specialists, the focus is on supporting education, which is the largest investment for New Uzbekistan, on the international positions of Uzbekistan in education rankings, on the changes that have occurred as a result of reforms in the field of higher education, on the adoption of a number of regulatory documents in this regard, on issues of a gradual increase in the level of enrollment in higher education.
